What is a section 21 notice?
A section 21 Notice can be served on a tenant by a landlord to terminate a tenancy, at the end of the fixed term of the tenancy. The section 21 notice must be served in accordance with the Housing Act 1988. A section 21 can only be served when a landlord has complied with all regulated requirements.
The notice must also allow the tenant a required period of time to vacate the property.
