The Landlord and Tenant Group is a paralegal law and enforcement firm specialising in the recovery of outstanding commercial and personal debts, enforcement action and all landlord and tenant matters, including repossessions.
We are a family run business with over 20 years experience within the legal and enforcement industry. We have seen how the industry has changed over the years and have adapted our management systems and processes accordingly to ensure that we are always fully compliant with regulations, our governing bodies and that our clients always achieve the most cost effective and efficient outcome.

Our specialist team has over 15 years’ experience and are continuously trained and updated on a regular basis through external and CPD training.
How do you operate?
On submitting an initial enquiry or instruction to the Landlord and Tenant Group, one of our experienced members of staff will discuss the situation in more detail and evaluate the most appropriate action to take. We aim to limit the costs to our clients at all times and offer a cost effective approach to each situation. On establishing the most appropriate way forward, one of our fully trained members of staff will go through the options as to the most effective way to proceed. Whether it be simply a case of writing a firm letter to your debtor or tenant, assisting you in commencing legal proceedings as a litigant in person, drafting documentation, or sending a certificated enforcement agent to undertake the necessary action. Our staff act fully on your instructions.
How quickly do you act?
Our staff acts within 24 hours of your instructions for any action taken and in some circumstances can act immediately dependent on the complexities of the matter and works that are required.
What methods are available to collect an outstanding debt?
We offer various different methods and approaches in the attempted recovery of an outstanding debt or rent. We tailor make a debt recovery solution to suit your needs and act fully on your instructions in a professional and efficient, cost effective manner. Our specialist team, professional in house debt collectors and certificated enforcement agents are fully experienced in the full range of procedures that are available to collect from any debtor or tenant. Can I discuss my outstanding debt or possession issue with you?
Of course you can! We are on call to offer advice and assistance to any kind of debt recovery, repossession or enforcement matter. On your initial enquiry, one of our experienced members of staff can discuss the issue and any tactics/methods available to you. On instructing the Landlord and Tenant Group, one of our fully trained members of staff and case handlers is always available to discuss the progress of your instruction with you.
Are you a solicitors' firm?
The Landlord and Tenant Group is a paralegal law and enforcement firm. We are not a firm of solicitors’ and are not authorised or regulated by the SRA. Whilst we can not undertake any reserved activities as per the Legal Services Act 2007, we are able to assist our clients with their debt recovery or legal issue on a low cost, fixed fee basis. We are able to assist with all pre-litigation action, guide you through the litigation process, draft all relevant documentation on your behalf and accompany you to Court. We are also regulated to assist with all of your enforcement requirements using our in house High Court Enforcement Officers and commercial bailiffs.

Who are Robson & Co. Solicitors?
The Landlord and Tenant Group is affiliated with Robson & Co. Solicitors by way of our legal specialist, Stephanie Turner. Stephanie Turner of Landlord Legal Assist Limited is affiliated with the regulated solicitors’ firm, Robson & Co. solicitors. On litigation being commenced, in circumstances whereby litigation commences and we are not able to continue to undertake litigation in house without the supervision of an SRA regulated firm, the instructing client is able (on their instructions) to enter into a separate retainer and agreement with Robson & Co. solicitors by way of our authorised person, Stephanie Turner, therefore allowing us to continue to act on your behalf whilst under their supervision to ensure compliance with the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority (SRA), whereby the terms and conditions and fees charged will be solely arranged between the instructing client and by way of Robson & Co. solicitors. In the event that litigation commences and we are able to continue to undertake litigation in house without the supervision of an SRA regulated firm, should circumstances permit and authority is granted by the court, we will continue to act on your behalf in house assisting you in acting as a litigant in person, as a paralegal law firm. Upon which, all works will be undertaken in accordance with our fixed fee structure, unless agreed otherwise. In the event that we are assisting you in acting as a litigant in person in house, we will not be acting under the supervision of Robson & Co. Solicitors. These works will only be permitted as long as the works do not amount to any reserved activities as per the Legal Services Act (2007) including but not limited to the right to conduct litigation and the right to audience. This will be advised prior to instructions and will be at the client’s discretion as to whether to utilise this option.
Who is your authorised High Court Enforcement Officer?
Our authorised High Court Enforcement Officer is Mr Gary Goy who is a full member of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association. All of our enforcement work is undertaken in house by way of allocated enforcement agents.
Because our enforcement team is located in the same offices as our legal team, we can ensure that your enforcement action is dealt with promptly and effectively, without delay.
